Our client's continuous expansion has led to an immediate requirement for an Electrical Engineer at our Edison, New Jersey office.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
Conducting electrical system analysis and calculations
Designing electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
Designing fire alarm systems and low voltage systems
Planning service room layouts, coordinating utility conduits, and implementing grounding and lighting protection
Generating design narratives and feasibility reports
Conducting electrical and fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists
Utilizing engineering and design computer software for assigned tasks (e.g., Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience
PE License in New Jersey required
Ability to thrive under strict deadlines and pressure
Strong multitasking skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and proactive collaboration abilities during the design and construction phases
