SAP Project Manager

**Hybrid in Atlanta, GA with some travel.**

Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $62.00 - $67.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the SAP Project Manager:

Manage single or multiple projects

Define project scope and goals

Create project plans and deliverables

Lead project team and steering committee meetings

Manage project budget (provides monthly forecast) based on scope of work and resource requirements

Track project costs in order to meet budget

Continually evaluate project performance and update project and portfolio management tools.

Identify and escalate risks, actions, issues and decisions to Program and/or Portfolio Manager and BRM

Perform retrospectives

Ensure tools are ready (collaboration, tracking)

Lead project kickoff meeting and planning workshops

Update project status in Accolade

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

Requirements of the SAP Project Manager:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5-8 years of project management and related experience

Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

Must have managed at least 3 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementations as the lead project manager

SAP process area expertise: Corporate applications in Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Sales

Proven ability to solve problems creatively

Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Strong familiarity with project management software tools (JIRA, Project for Web), Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and best practices
