Associate Attorney

Company & Position Overview:

McGrew Miller Bomar & Bagley is a distinguished civil litigation and trial defense law firm. It is engaged in medical malpractice defense, representing medical providers in a multitude of healthcare specialties, as well as general liability defense, representing premises owners and managers, security companies, rideshare companies and drivers, common carriers, and product manufacturers.

We are currently looking for a talented Associate Attorney interested in civil litigation and gaining trial experience. We are a dynamic, young, and aggressive firm, specializing in medical malpractice and general liability defense. Our office is in the historic Hurt Building in downtown Atlanta. The ideal candidate will manage cases in active litigation from pre-suit investigations through trial.

Responsibilities:

· Work collaboratively with clients and co-counsel to develop and implement a cohesive defense strategy in every case;

· Manage and evaluate complex, high-risk cases;

· Take and defend depositions;

· Advocate for clients in briefs and in court.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors and Juris Doctorate degrees;

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills;

· Top 30% of law school class preferred;

· Moot court, mock trial, and/or journal experience preferred;

· At least 3 years litigation experience;

· Current and good standing member of the Georgia Bar.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
