Title: Quality Control Inspector (Onsite)

Location: Houston TX 77032

Duration: 12 months Contract (Possible Hire)

Pay: $21/ hr on W2

QES Inspector will assist the QES Facility Manager with operation of the ISO system, with his/her main focus on receiving inspection, in-process inspection.

Other inspection duties may include final inspection/testing, Client investigations, etc. as assigned by QES Facility Manager.

Responsibilities:

Primary Quality Duties

Inspection

Final Inspections

Read schematics and electrically test finished goods up to 600 volts

Inspect control panels for proper components and assembly

Start-up Inspections as needed

In-Process Inspections as directed by QES Manager

Receiving Inspections all items indicated on SAP for receiving inspection

RGA Standard Customer Returns (not complaint related)

Calibration – Assist monitoring production employees as needed. Document torque logs.

Assist QES Manager to investigate facility specific Client’s

Assist with internal quality system audits

Other Duties

Environmental

Assist QES Manager with maintaining proper labeling (RA)

Maintain proper storage container compliance (RA)

Safety

Assist QES Manager with monitoring PPE use

Monitor Safety hazards

Other duties as assigned

Required:

High School Diploma

2 + years experience in the motor control industry or electrical industry.

Desired:

Familiar with Sprecher + Schuh products and part numbers.

Experience with Ladder Wiring diagrams.

Experience with testing custom control panels.
