We are now offering a role as a Key Account Manager with the mission to develop long-term relationships with big strategic customers across all customer segments or defined number of segments and covering the entire professional product portfolio in postcodes EX,PL,SN,SP,TA,BH,DT,GU,PO,SO & BA with a clear end-user focus, either direct. This role has a Head Office in Penrith but the successful applicant will need to reside in one of the postcodes above, as it will be a "Home-based Role".

The Key Account Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. He/she will manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favourable relationship with clients, as well as support large customers on local level with support from Direct Sales Manager.

Main responsibilities of the role

Pursue sales leads, visit existing customers, assess customer's needs and suggest appropriate products and services, promote products and conclude orders.

Respond to customer's enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and concluded sales orders to meet revenue targets. Be primary point of contact and build long term relationships with customers.

Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.

Refer sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.

Establish annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal/external stakeholders. Forecast and track key account metrics

Make offers, update digital customer files, provide weekly information about pipeline to be used for best guess.

Ability to manage multiple projects

Driving license and willing to travel
