Division: Weir ESCO

Location: Unit B, 20F The JMT Corporate Condominium, ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Purpose of Role: The CADET Engineer Intern will assist the Engineering Team in basic 3D CAD modeling and manufacturing drawings. This role will provide an opportunity to immerse in the highly engineering world and gain skills and practical experiences. Key Responsibilities:

Learnings: Develop a thorough understanding of Weir ESCO products and their applications. Learn and adapt company processes, engineering standards, and tools for the generation of models and associated drawings.

CAD Works: Assist Design Engineers in basic 3D CAD modeling and manufacturing drawings that follow best practices

Collaboration: Collaborate and participate in the meetings and brainstorming by contributing mechanical engineering knowledge and principles to solve problems related to products, development, and processes for continuous improvements

Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors to support our drive toward developing a world-class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Currently taking up Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and be able to sign a Memorandum of Agreement and provide Endorsement Letter from their University, and Medical Certificate/Clearance

Has a basic knowledge in CAD software

Good communication skills

Must commit and render least 250 hours, minimum of 30 hours per week (e.g. May 2024 – July 2024)

Must be amenable to report on a hybrid work set-up in Ortigas, Pasig between 6AM to 3PM schedule from Monday to Friday. Willing to start as soon as possible.
