Senior Real - Time Graphic Design Developer Hybrid )

This position is responsible for the creation, development and deployment of designs, animations, and real-time graphics directories at an intermediate level of understanding and skill.

The Senior Real-Time Graphic Design Developer works on new graphic build templates, modifications to existing templates and directory maintenance.

They will communicate and collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Production and Technology partners to help set expectations and ensure on-time delivery.

They assist in developing project workflows and processes and adhere to PGA TOUR Creative Studio protocols.

Have a solid broadcasting background, control room automation experience, and a front-end web skillset.

They will provide error-free graphics and technical support.

They will participate in and assist with training and onboarding programs.

This is a creative role that requires the ability to innovate, learn quickly and collaborate with others under varying deadlines to maintain the quality of PGA TOUR Studios’ on-air product.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or Graphic Design discipline Have at least 5+ years of experience in a Broadcast Television environment, 3+ minimum specifically building graphics utilizing the Ross XPression software application Strong desire to learn, comfortable in a fast-moving environment Ability to learn and adapt to new technology Excellence in problem solving and balancing quick turnaround with long-term quality Must be detail-oriented and organized, possess strong communication skills, and be able to prioritize a variety of tasks efficiently Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Create reusable code and libraries of UI/UX designs Deep understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite products Unreal Engine experience Knowledge of Cinema 4D Work directly with designers and end users in deploying real-time graphics solutions to the production studio and live event teams Must be willing to work on-site RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Utilize Ross Xpression and suite of products in the creation, template development, and scripting of real-time graphics for PGA Tour Studios and Live Event production Work closely with Creative Director and Art Directors to create and refine design concepts Contribute to optimized control room and producer workflows Troubleshoot issues with real-time graphics platforms Provide troubleshooting and support for event and/or studio directories Utilize other graphics software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After-Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Cinema4D and Unreal to aid in the creation of designs and animations Learn about specialty business segments, such as, virtual studio, data visualization, augmented reality, etc.
