Job Summary

The Food Service Assistant/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the residence and the operation of the kitchen and food services.

Responsibilities:

Cooking and preparing foods as required by scheduled menu.

Responsible for compliance with sanitation and Food Service policies and procedures

Interacts with clients in a kind, concerned and helpful manner

Communicates any observations to supervisory staff that may affect the well-being of clients

Reports safety and maintenance concerns to the Residential Manager

Tracking and reporting inventory

Attends and participates in staff meetings

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma and related kitchen and housekeeping experience preferred

Ability to cook and prepare breakfast foods, sandwiches, and salads in volume

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be 21 years of age
