High Visibility Procurement Manager Role - Market Leader - Raw Material Processor – Richmond VA We are engaged by one of our leading clients to identify their new Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing operations from their new office located on the Southside of Richmond V A.

Background Qualifications Bachelor s degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field is preferred.

CPM/APICS/ASCM certification is preferred Experience working in a Project Management environment Minimum (5) years related experience as purchasing officer, manager, or related position Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems Position Overview Coordinates purchasing activities with mining and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.

Manages vendor pricing to obtain maximum ROI.

Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply.

Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time.

Manage delivery, quality performance, cost, and customer satisfaction for established vendors.

Work with team members to develop future purchasing plans.

Identify and approve potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs.

Develop purchasing policies and procedures and obtain approval for new policies.
