Description:

The Warranty Administrator assists with all warranty related issues. This includes assisting in the warranty process, filing warranty for all failed units and components every time a unit fails, and being responsible for ensuring the timeliness of the warranty procedure and ensuring refunds are distributed appropriately.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Monitor, track, and facilitate the timely processing of warranty claims for both internally produced and externally purchased product.

Interface with the customer by answering incoming customer calls and handling various customer driven issues.

Take phone orders from customers, creating invoices for appropriate orders, generate shipping labels for related shipments.

Assist in preparing reports to track warranty claim rates, faults found, and conduct necessary root cause analysis.

Responsible for specific customer shipments and making shipping arrangements.

Provide quotations to customers and provide assistance on any customer related demands in the warranty department.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

2 years of prior Warranty Administration experience.

Experience with the diagnostic and repairs of internal combustion engines

Excellent PC skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Applies sound judgement when making decisions.
