Job Description
T&M Associates is currently looking for a Human Resource (HR) Generalist to join our team! The HR Generalist position has responsibility for several important human resource functions including onboarding, benefits, HRIS/employee records maintenance, workers compensation, training coordination, and employee engagement. This position helps to develop and communicate organizational policies and programs and contributes to enhancing the employee experience at T&M. This position also has responsibility for a wide range of daily HR administrative duties and serves as a partner to both employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding
Manages full cycle onboarding process/program. Serves as a liaison between new employees, internal departments, and management.
Conducts new hire orientation, maintains all new hire paperwork, issues pre-employment screenings.
Benefits
Manages all benefit & COBRA administration events including: New Hires, Annual Open Enrollments, Life Events, Terminations, Benefit fairs, education sessions and open HR reporting.
Manages all benefit vendor website enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Assist HR Manager with implementation and communication of Wellness Incentive Program.
Handles, or directs to appropriate parties, employment/benefit related inquiries from employees
401k Administration, including audits and weekly changes.
Manage all benefit and vendor HR bills.
HRIS/employee records maintenance
Creates and maintains virtual records related to all employment activities including recruiting, training, promotions, terminations, licenses, etc.
Responsible for managing HRIS with all employee data changes in a timely and accurate manner.
Works closely with Payroll department to process employment, benefit, and compensation updates/changes biweekly
Other Administrative duties
Workers Compensation Reporting.
1095C Administration.
Manage Employee Recognition Program.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of new policies, and procedures as directed by HR Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
3+ years of general HR experience required.
SHRM-CP highly desired.
HRIS experience required, ADP experience highly desired.
Skilled in the use of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
Detail oriented and strong organization and time management skills.
Able to effectively prioritize tasks and ensure accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to receive direction and work well on a team.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
