Residential Medical Technician

Job Description

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a Residential Medical Technician who is responsible for the medical and non medical management of the individuals served, by assisting the LIP's in delivering the appropriate care within the PRTF model of the residential setting, and they are responsible for providing supervision and guidance for the individuals who reside at the Agency by performing the following duties.

Hours

12p-8pm Monday - Friday, one weekend a month, and some holidays.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school education or equivalent;

Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or Hold a certification as a CNA or an EMT required.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in mental health recovery.
