Key Accountabilities

The role holder will:

· Support the Financial Controller SSC with transition of AR and AP activities from local offices to India Centre of Excellence;

· Manage and perform all accounting activities across various legal entity operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.

· Develop, document and implement standard AP and AR processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;

· Work closely with the Financial Controller SSC to resolve discrepancies, issues and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner;

· Support the Financial Controller SSC develop functionalized model of Global Accounts Payable and Global Accounts Receivable Centers of Excellence.

· Responsible for team management as the team grows in .

· Settlement intercompany balances and performs intercompany reconciliations;

· Ensuring strong financial control and compliance with accounting standards;

· Support other areas of Group Finance with ad hoc accounting queries/projects.

Knowledge and Experience

Professional and Technical Experience

The successful candidate will have experience operating within the finance industry, ideally in an asset management and/or fiduciary services business and will be able to provide advice and guidance to the local Finance team(s) to support decision making and ensure that

financial performance meets target. They will demonstrate technical competency and an ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively, with a proven track record in being able to communicate effectively at all levels.

AD Hoc

The role holder is a member of an expanding Group Finance team and will be involved in ad hoc projects and assisting in other areas of finance as the demands of the Group and team require.

Knowledge and Experience

· AR and/or AP experience in a SSC or BPO environment

· Experience working in a dynamic environment and ability to adapt to change

· Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical with ability to build relationships

· Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

· Proficient computer skills (MS Excel, PowerBI, Outlook, Word, Workday/Adaptive and Navision)

· Experience in financial service industry

Academic and Professional Qualifications

· University level degree and masters;

· a semi qualified member of an accountancy body (Chartered or Certified) qualification (not essential)

· Excellent level of English skills, both verbal and written.
