Formulate validation strategy, conceptualize new test methodologies
-Make a detail plan of test & analysis requirements, required vehicles & its timeline
-Evaluate and verify the test worthiness of the vehicle to be tested
-Prepare test plan and confirm test setup on vehicle
-Acquire error free data in vehicle level NVH evaluation and development testing
-Analyse vibration and noise data using appropriate software tools for respective applications/ requirements (wind, road, regulatory, flow induced, chassis and Body NVH)
-Reproduce field failure condition in vehicle level during testing
-Conduct Root cause analysis & performs corrective action
-Coordinate with inter and intra departments for optimizing the solution
-Document new technology or process developments into work guidelines, work instructions, Design rules, Notarization and Technical paper.
-If no one performs the work, then- Planning and execution of vehicle NVH test and analysis of the data will be delayed & NVH refinement in vehicles will not happen, which will lead to inferior vehicle NVH performance
-Understanding the principles of acoustics and vibration and how they propagate in various materials and structures is essential for identifying and mitigating NVH issues
-Instrumentation Knowledge: Proficiency in analyzing noise and vibration and their sources within a vehicle, as well as various NVH measurement instruments and techniques
-Technical Cognizance: Knowledge about basic automotive engineering, various systems and subsystems of automobiles, their functions and working dynamics
-Data Acquisition and Analysis: Skill in using NVH data acquisition systems and appropriate software's to analyses the acquired data
-NVH Testing: Experience in conducting NVH tests, both in the lab and on the test track, to identify noise and vibrations sources
-Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and address NVH issues effectively
-Communication Skills: The ability to communicate NVH findings and solutions to cross-functional teams, including design, engineering and manufacturing
-Project Management: Proficiency in managing NVH projects, including setting vehicle level targets, timelines, budgets and also ensuring the targets are met
-Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards related to noise and emissions (Pass by Noise), and the ability to ensure compliance with these standards
-Testing Standards: Familiarity with relevant testing standards and protocols for noise and vibration measurement
-Guide supervisors for fitment of sensors as per Vehicle NVH Development test requirement
-Reliable data generation, reporting and presentation
-Benchmarking the NVH performance of each aggregate at vehicle level to set targets for new projects
-Subjective assessment during testing & reporting observations
-Systematic approach for NVH issue identification & resolution
-Documentation of new technology or process through Work guidelines, DVP, patent, copyright and technical paper
-Enhance skills with proper understanding & utilization of various NVH methodologies for vehicle level NVH development.8Product support for issues through CFT
-Adherence to Safety standards & 5S of working area
Developing new capability for NVH evaluation and development requirements.
