LC Staffing is now recruiting for a laser operator for a leading manufacturing company in Missoula. In the laser operator position you will be required to perform advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill.

Work Location: In Person (Missoula, MT)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Chooses correct material for the job according to work order

Sets up machine, selects proper burning tip, sets gas flow and machine feed rates

Uses gauges, calipers, squares, or rulers for measurement

Determines processing specifications such as materials, burning tips, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences

Reviews CAD drawings, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications

Other duties as assigned. Requirements:

Minimum one (1) year of experience in operating a burning machine or as machine operator/programmer.

Past machine operator experience

Forklift certified

Must posses basic measuring skills

Microsoft Windows programs experience, specifically Excel.

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (50 pounds max).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to engage in frequent bending, and lifting and standing and walking.

Work environment does have chemicals in use on premises and environment can be dusty.

The noise level in the work environment is constant and loud at times. PPE may be required for hearing protection.
