As an Ecommerce Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in navigating the dynamic landscape of ecommerce. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your analytical capabilities to drive strategic decision-making and optimize performance across various facets of our ecommerce operations. By deep diving into key performance indicators and interpreting data insights, you will empower our team to enhance customer experiences, boost sales, and stay ahead of the competition in the ever-evolving digital marketplace. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business insights into action.

Web Analytic/ Site Activity Reporting:

• Trade Reporting for Levi.com – Using Adobe Analytics and financial data, understand the funnel health of the site, highlighting risks an opportunities of highest traffic pages, steps in the funnel and calling out category, country, and product specificities to be used as a trading tool. Create and support cluster dedicated reporting, maintaining overall EU view.

• Using the Site merchandising and marketing calendar, understand the impact of site activities and story execution on overall business performance. Supporting the Site Merchandising team with Adobe Analytics dashboards and PowerBI reporting to measure success of visual merchandising implementation, page and category health and real-time opportunities.

• Analyse the consumer journey for promotional periods, understanding the behaviour of the consumer on the site and the end to end impact of this on the metrics, offering suggestions for improvements.

• Ad-Hoc Analysis projects on areas of the site to fuel projects and site performance (E.g. returns impact on the website and app)

• Working with Data & Analytics team to drive alert reporting, identifying risks and opportunities to the business teams.

Cross-Functional Reporting & Analysis:

• Set Up and support data extraction and presentation for weekly, monthly and quarterly Business Reviews. Chair and input to the Monthly Business Review for eCommerce across the Stakeholders across the functions.

• Support with Financial Planning reviews – joining different data sources to tell a story from demand to operations to financial net revenue.

• Work with other channels outside of ecommerce to identify trends and use data visualisation skills and tools to help tell a story and aid forecasting accuracy.

• Support the APP manager with APP insights and reporting

• Work with the loyalty team by providing analysis and actionable insights into loyal customer behaviour

Future Proof Reporting:

• Creation of new KPI management tools to support country and category Growth. Connecting with stakeholders to drive new process and co-ordination of KPI management tools, ensuring efficiently and strong communication

• Creating data visualisation dashboards to support leadership with storytelling and present data in a clear and digestible way, and developing self serving dashboards for the business teams to drive their own data story-telling.

• Connecting various data sources to understand trends, opportunities and risks. Understanding the End to End performance of the eCommerce Business Unit from Operational KPI’s, digital KPI’s and financial KPIs – linking these together to tell a story and help predict knock-on effects.

• Support Site Operations team in streamlining reporting tools that are not directly related to data analysis but process analysis and refinement.

Recap Key Responsibilities :

KPI Monitoring and Analysis: Spearhead the monitoring, analysis, and interpretation of critical KPIs related to ecommerce performance, including but not limited to conversion rate, average order value (AOV), customer lifetime value (CLV), retention rate, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).

Performance Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to effectively communicate ecommerce performance metrics to stakeholders across the organization. Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to drive business growth.

Forecasting and Trend Analysis: Utilize historical data and predictive modelling techniques to forecast ecommerce trends, anticipate market shifts, and identify opportunities for revenue optimization and cost efficiency.

Customer Behaviour Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behaviour and segmentation to identify patterns, preferences, and pain points. Utilize customer journey mapping and cohort analysis to enhance personalized experiences and maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to benchmark ecommerce performance metrics against peers and identify areas of competitive advantage. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in ecommerce analytics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in ecommerce analytics or business intelligence, with a strong focus on KPI measurement and analysis.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).

Solid understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe), and CRM systems.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear and actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving business results through data-driven decision-making, with a customer centric eye

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Naturally meticulous, highly analytical, ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders mapping to the business priority and commercial needs
