Bookkeeper

Job Description

Lonestar Caliper is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. We use Sage 50 Accounting Software so prior experience is a plus. Good phone skills is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Obtain primary financial data for accounting records

Compute and record numerical data

Check the accuracy of business transactions

Perform data entry and administrative duties

Invoice current transaction in our Sage 50 accounting Software

Preform payroll and direct deposit and all reports that go along with payroll

Generate all quarterly reports and all end of year tax prep to give to CPA.

Answer phones and take orders and deal with customers and vendors alike.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields

Previous experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software

Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Strong organizational skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Previous experience dealing with customers and vendors.Company Description
