Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in areas such as system administration. Must have analytical skills, well organized, detail-oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments. We are seeking an individual who has a track record of mentoring and coaching others and encouraging an environment of collaborative learning and growth.

Holds regular meetings with Technical Services Team to discuss project plans, timelines, issues, network / system status and technology updates.

Responsible for keeping abreast of the latest developments in technology and recommending changes & implementing hardware/software/network solutions in an effort to meet the needs of MSMC.

Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, client satisfaction goals and implementing SLA's.

Monitors productivity of staff and develops innovative methods to increase productivity without decreasing quality.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of the various computer systems, desktop, network components, high availability, capacity planning and Business Continuity planning.

Is responsible for providing direction for staffing in accordance with organization goals and objectives and meets changing needs in the areas of responsibility.

Seeks methods to reduce costs throughout the department and hospital by the use of alternative vendors, services and technologies.

Manages all supply chain resources and activities pertaining to testing MMIS application software patches and upgrades.

Oversight and testing includes all related interfaces and integration to other systems and data sources.

Manages user access and serves as application administrator for multiple web-based systems.

Manages Independently and/or works with other staff, to develop custom and ad hoc reports/files

Manages all MMIS master files, including but not limited to item master, purchase order vendor master, and location master.

Manages and facilitates athe Vendor Credentialing application to assure a safe environment of care by effectively overseeing all aspects of vendor visitation and credentialing.

Manages, facilitates, tests, analyzes, and troubleshoots issues pertaining to all MMIS interfaces including EPIC, Supply Scan, etc.

Manages staff and activities related to data and processing accuracy to avoid erroneous costs and other adverse financial issues. These activities emphasize oversight of surgery related ""IMPL"" or implant purchase orders and electronic data interchange (EDI) providers such as Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX).

Manages staff and user access to product and equipment recalls and alerts processing (current online application is ECRI's Alerts Tracker). Reports and research as needed to support all related inquiries. Manual records are stored and used for internal as well as external (such as periodic and unannounced FDA queries).

Manages or conducts all month-end processing and report generation used by Accounting, Supply Chain, OR, and Cath Lab.

Oversees and manages tissue registration to ensure compliance with Joint Commission surveys.

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience.

Healthcare experience desired

6+ years in Support Management / Administration / Security and Windows Server and Desktop environments.

Experience in one or all of the following: Veridigm (FKA Allscripts), Infor and/or Workday, SQL
