A GRADE Property Restoration is one of New Jerseys leading Fire, Water, Storm property repair contractors. Serving the Tri-State area, we are a full-service restoration company licensed and certified by the IICRC for mold, asbestos abatement, fire, smoke, and water damage repairs. From trees crashing through houses, large residential fires, removing asbestos shingle siding to burst water lines, we are experts at dealing with insurance companies and getting the property owners the funds needed to make repairs.

We are seeking a candidate with great leadership capabilities, strong work ethics, and excellent problem-solving skills. The Mitigation Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the mitigation department. This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians, trade partners, estimating the loss utilizing Xactimate software and managing the lifecycle of the job. The Mitigation Manager will also be responsible for managing and growing the mitigation department out of the Ledgewood, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

Ability to manage and build high performing teams

Review job profitably and analyze financial reports pertaining to the mitigation department

Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, and mold mitigation projects, selling services to the customer

Communicate and negotiate with insurance professionals

Ability to estimate and manage mitigation projects

Respond to property damage emergency calls

Ability to communicate with a variety of customers

Complete necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize moisture mapping software

Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors

Participate in design, process and permit submittal

Establish and maintain client relationships

Attend all appropriate company meetings

Additional duties required as neededJob Qualifications:

10+ years experience in a management role in the restoration industry

Expert level experience utilizing Xactimate estimating software

IICRC, WRT/ASD preferred

Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills

Ability to recognize and solve problems independently

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Self-motivated, responsible, accountable, and confident

Must be able to pass a background check

Valid NJ drivers license with a clean driving record
