Marine Technicians / Mechanics - Victoria based, Full Time

Our client is a well known retailer and marine repairer based in the South East. The business is seeking skilled marine Technicians / Mechanics to work in their busy service centres.

To ensure success in this position, you should have a knowledge of marine electrical and mechanical systems, have a good eye for detail, and be able to fault find and problem-solve complex problems. Ultimately, a top-notch Technician can install, troubleshoot and repair any electrical / mechanical system in a vessel.

Our Marine Technicians / Mechanics are responsible for

Inboard and Outboard Engine servicing and repair

Electronic and Wiring installation and repair

Diagnosing electrical / mechanical problems with marine systems and

New boat fit ups.

Duties will include:

Engine servicing

Installing and troubleshooting electrical problems

Diagnosing engine issues and proposing a course of action

Providing estimated time and parts for repairs

Installing new engines and electrical systems

Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems

Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment

Completing job reports and processing paperwork

Maintaining a clean working environment

Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience in the field.

We have found that a passion for boating or fishing certainly helps!

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package of $80,000 - $84,999.
