Your Challenges

Joining us at our offices in Østbirk, you will report directly to Senior Director of Technology Portfolio and Exploration, Anne Kathrine Laursen. You will be part of a team with 5 close colleagues plus our leadership team, a department with 75+ colleagues and your daily tasks and assignments will give you a large span of contacts across the Products organization as well as across the full VELUX organization, especially our Supply organization (Procurement, Production, Logistics etc.).

Your responsibility will be to lead multiple transformational changes across areas such as Products and Innovation, including but not limited to topics such as new material and technology introduction, sustainability and circular product topics. You will develop and implement transformation strategies to ensure effective transformation projects, e.g. by fostering collaboration across functions. It is important to underline that the transformation organization and the “how to” is not defined at point in time – we expect you to be part of the definition and establishment of this.

More specifically, you will:

Develop and implement transformation strategies aligned with organizational goals, including new ways of working internally and with externals.

Act as the face of the transformations.

Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to drive transformational change.

Create and communicate a compelling vision for change.

Develop change management plans, including stakeholder engagement and communication.

Fully integrate into the executive team, reporting directly to top management.

Provide regular updates on transformation progress and milestones.

Monitor progress and adjust tactical plans accordingly.

Enable data-driven decisions.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

You should expect approx. 20-30 days of travelling per year within Denmark and Europe.

Your Qualifications

To be the ideal candidate for this role, it is important that you:

Bring 10+ years’ of experience, hereof minimum 6-7 years within change management, transformation management or similar roles.

Bring a solid technical understanding of and ability to work in a technically founded environment.

Have a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives or projects in an international matrix organization, with exposure to VP and SVP Management levels.

Bring a mix of practical experience and a “theoretical” tool box within transformation management.

Have great business understanding.

Are a great communicator, especially in your interaction with your key stakeholders and in presentations.

Are able to work effectively and efficiently in an environment where resistance to change may be present, and where we progress by obtaining support for the transformation on all levels of the organization.

Speak and write English proficiently.
