Calling all Safety & Sustainability Gurus!

Greenville, NC based employer is seeking a passionate and experienced Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) Manager to join their team!

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, protecting the environment, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive QEHS policies and procedures.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and internal requirements.

Oversee the management of workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational safety and efficiency.

Manage and maintain an integrated ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 program.

Lead and participate in safety training programs.

Collaborate with management and external stakeholders on all QEHS matters.

Develop and deliver training programs on various QEHS topics, including 6S, root cause analysis, PPE, DOT, and RCRA.

Oversee the transportation program, including E-Logs, dash-cameras, vehicle tracking, and drug testing.

Review and approve hazardous waste characterizations for safe and compliant disposal.

Manage leading and lagging metrics, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.

Oversee the safety of the analytical laboratory.

Manage import and transboundary documentation, including RCRA letters of authority.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in developing and implementing QEHS programs.

Strong understanding of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Person may be required to work any shift, including evening, weekend or holidays as required.
