Overview:
The Dispatcher is primarily responsible for operating the 911 emergency and administrative telephones, fire and security alarm systems, CCTV, Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Terminal, 2-way radio and emergency warning and notification systems, CCTV/voice recording systems and the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
Responsibilities:
Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
Track and record all incidents with a chronological listing of events using the CAD system.
Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and three (1) year of responsible dispatcher experience.
Experience with executing emergency response plans using first response force.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
Meet and maintain the requirements of NFPA 1061, Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Tele-communicator and Emergency Medical Dispatch and NFPA 1221, Standard for the Installation, Maintenance, and Use of Emergency Services Communications Systems.
Possess certifications in the following systems: the National Criminal Information Center (NCIC) reporting system; the CJIS; and the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System IS-100 and IS-700.
Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance, but not required to start.
Must be able to meet drug testing and alcohol – free workforce requirements to include random drug and/or alcohol testing
