Strategy Manager

Overview:

Talent Pool - Administrative & Clerical

The Strategy Manager supports service line, market, and facility leaders across Cone Health by 1) utilizing a variety of strategic planning tools and methods to support leaders strategic plans and projects, 2) bringing forward industry research and ideas through both quantitative and qualitative resources, and 3) increasing the strategic capacity of the organization through education and thought partnership. Key skills will include strong communication, presentation, facilitation, coalition building, and research capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Provides support and guidance to service line leaders, system executives, and the Executive Director, Strategy and Planning, in the development of Cone Health programs and strategies, including service line growth and development plans, through thought partnership, facilitation, analysis, and insights.

Identifies strategic best practices and industry trends for developing strategic plans and growth and development plans.

Assists with highly sensitive and complex projects supporting the development and execution of Cone Health?s strategic roadmap, at the direction of the Executive Director, Strategy and Planning.

Collaborates with other Cone Health system-wide teams, such as Marketing, Innovation, and Organizational Excellence / Learning and Development teams, around service line support and strategic projects.

Supports the development and deployment of the Cone Health Strategic Plan at the direction of the Executive Director, Strategy and Planning.

Develops and delivers education for Cone Health leaders and staff related to strategic thinking and best practices for strategic planning.

Collaborates with Planning Managers to provide comprehensive strategic insights to guide system-level strategic decision making.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Marketing, Health Care Administration or Public Health Administration or closely related field.

Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Strategy, Marketing, Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration or closely related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: At least one year of related experience, preferably in a health care setting.

Preferred: At least three years of related experience, preferably in a health care setting.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

Required: Valid Driver's license.
