We are seeking a smiling, fresh face to fill our Manager position for a newly renovated inn. Candidate must have a can do, positive attitude!
Qualifications and responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
Maximize revenue, average daily rate and hotel financial goal
Ability to sell and use positive customer service skills to rent rooms and market property
Bank deposits and reconciliation
Manage guest complaints at the hotel and via feedback software and public review sites
Oversee and manage staff including housekeepers and maintenance personnel
In charge of hiring and training personnel
Prepare and maintain all choice hotels standards for random inspections
Exhibit unmatched customer service skills and a positive attitude with team and customers
Motivated and quick learner and adapter to ever changing business functions
Ability to listen as well as to communicate effectively
Oversee purchasing and costing food, office, laundry and general supplies and establishing relationship with vendors/suppliers
Project management oversight
Must be detail oriented
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Oversee and manage a team, including Front Desk
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Housekeeping and Maintenance personnel
Manage and submit payroll
Purchase and track supplies and inventory
Ability to perform targeted marketing
Drive results and monitor performance and make recommendations to improve
