About the role

As announced in December 2023, we started construction of one of the largest Biotech Large Scale production centers in Europe, located at Lendava, Slovenia. Operations will start in late 2026. As Shift Lead, USP, DSP you wil be responsible for the organization of work, leadership of shift personnel, and supervision and conduct of work in the production process, in order to ensure the implementation of the production plan, in accordance with the law, internal regulations, Good Practices, and business objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Performing the role of Shift Leader in production within your team and promoting Sandoz values.

• Providing knowledge, skills, and information about goals, challenges, performance indicators, values, and behaviors to members of your team.

• Responsibility for personal and professional development as well as the development of colleagues.

• Implementing the operational plan within the team. Optimizing the use of technical resources to achieve daily goals.

• In case of technical issues, establishing a team that will identify and establish solutions for quick resolution or informing the Production Unit Leader or on-call expert, after a first-level investigation has been conducted and proposing solutions that are then approved by the responsible person.

• Participating in the takeover and implementation of new equipment for technological processes.

• Enabling/coordinating upgrades and improving quality by verifying practical usage in production, in collaboration with Quality Management (QA).

• Responsibility for adhering to applicable principles and practices according to GOP, SOP, GMP, and implementing them at the location for your area.

• Ensuring conditions and control over the implementation of health, safety, and environmental tasks and requirements in the unit.

• Implementing the IGM strategy and monitoring its implementation in your area. Ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information that is stored, controlled, or processed.

Role Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

• Minimum high school education in chemistry, engineering, technical, pharmaceutical, or other relevant fields.

• 2 years of work experience in production.

• Fluent English language skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
