About the role

As announced in December 2023, we started construction of one of the largest Biotech Large Scale production centers in Europe, located at Lendava, Slovenia. Operations will start in late 2026. We are seeking a Process Expert (USP / DSP) to provide front line expert support for all process-specific issues to production within one or more production steps, to participate in execution of processes on-time, continuously improving in quality and productivity, performed in compliance to cGMPs, SOPs and applicable guidelines and functional standards. You will smooth operation of production, with the aim of improving quality and compliance.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide front-line expert support for issues and challenges, related to processes and production.

• Induction to and later fully performing the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific techniques, products or technical processes.

• Ensure on-time shop floor support as an expert on technical problems and ensure that appropriate immediate corrective actions are implemented.

• Monitor processes, identify possible trends and ensure timely interventions in the event of observed negative trends.

• Ensure that all production documents, project timelines and/or validations are systematically and timely up to date for the need of regular production, in compliance with GMP.

• Collaboration with experts from other relevant units in investigations of deviations.

• Prepare and if applicable actively participate in all inspections and prepare and implement measures, based on audits’ observations.

• Management of validations, revalidations/qualifications and annual reviews, in accordance with deadlines and current regulations.

Role Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, pharmaceutical technology, chemistry, pharmacy or other relevant scientific field.

• Proficient in local and English language.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Good communication skills, responsibility, self-initiative.
