Job Description
DEL-AIR is a growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Sarasota.
Primary Responsibilities: Performing RNC Service Tech on air conditioning units in residential homes for customers.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
Performs start-ups on new HVAC equipment.
Braze and solder various metals to connect piping
Install, modify, or repairs air ducts, indoor unit, drain pans, drain lines, and outdoor units
Install and calibrate thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers
Inspect inoperative indoor or outdoor units to locate causes of trouble
Disassemble indoor or outdoor units, and replace or repair defective parts
Perform preventive maintenance on drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication
After repairs, completely evaluate the operations of the equipment using gauges, voltmeters, leak detectors, sling pycnometers, static, and velocity instruments
Qualifications:
Have a minimum of 1 year of HVAC field experience, preferred
Graduated from an accredited HVAC technical program, preferred
Obtain at least an EPA, Type II certification, Universal preferred
Have obtained a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
Must be able to work on an on-call rotation, when assigned.
Be experienced with low & high voltage wiring
Customer skills
Eligible to legally work in the United States.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
