Monthly Performance Bonus: $250

About the Role:

As a Service Technician, you will serve as a functional expert and dispatcher for the regional Service Technician team. This will include; Creating and assigning work orders, closing out tickets, submitting end of day reports, providing on-call support, training the Field teams, regional audits, and overseeing part inventory in the region. You will also be required to; build, install, maintain, repair, and sometimes move our smart fridges. Smart fridges have two components and you need to be proficient in both: mechanical and technological. This role does require travel at times (20%), as well as driving to locations within 3.5 hours on a weekly basis. This role will report directly to the Regional Distribution Manager.

Responsibilities as a Service Technician Level 2:

Dispatch: Create and assign Work orders, close out tickets, conduct remote fixes

Training and on-call support

Audits: Parts Inventory, 3PL warehouses, sites/fridges, local STs and vehicles

Fridge repairs and service tickets

Smart fridge installations, relocations, and removals

Building out of smart fridges for deployment

Complete any special tasks assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Complete Department of Health Inspection of Farmer’s Fridge smart fridges

Necessary knowledge, skills, and experience:

Valid Driver License

Ability to use hand tools such as drills and pliers

Ability to use basic technology (use apps for tracking work, and execute basic commands on the OS at the fridge)

Experience working with refrigerated vending machines - Preferred

Familiarity with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office

Experience with Zendesk, Slack, CMS,, Paycor, and preferred

Google Forms, Gmail

Must have ability to obtain proper clearance and badging at all fridge locations in the market including airports.

Pass and maintain market specific food handler certifications and state compliant certifications

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines

Must have 3 years of field technician experience

Ability To Lift And Pull Objects In Excess Of 100 Lbs With Frequent Lifting And/Or Carrying Objects Up To 50+ Lbs
