This is a regional leadership position that will lead Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital, the Animal Activity Center, and the Kitty Clinic of Clinton Township- The PAK!

One of the community's most iconic veterinary hospitals, Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital is seeking a leader to take things to the next level! Lead one of the state's largest exotic hospitals through an exciting new phase of growth. Ultrasound, echocardiogram, exotics, cats and dogs, digital x- ray, advanced surgery... we have it all! Stewarding the community since 1999, this is a modern- day clinic with modern equipment, an in- house lab, a spacious facility, and so much more!

Attached to Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital is Animal Activity Center, one of our premiere boarding, daycare, and grooming facilities! This beautiful center has a waterfall, koi pond, real plants and trees, and tons of space to ensure our community's pets have the best care!

The Kitty Clinic of Clinton Township is just down the street! This is an intimate clinic that caters to our feline friends. Combined, these three facilities are part of the Veterinary United family! We are an independent and family- owned practice group with a ton of collaboration and support!

Patient Care & Patience

Demonstrates and reinforces the highest level of client service and culture

Resolves client issues and escalations

Oversee client follow-up communication.

Work with our Marketing Team to help grow your client base

Your Drive:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree is preferred but not required.

3-5 years of experience in a manager role, including customer service experience.

Experience in a veterinary hospital setting in positions of increased responsibility is preferred.

Substance and Skills

Multi-functional operations including budget and labor management.

Manage time and tasks appropriately and remain flexible with assigned duties.

Supervisory and leadership experience.

Reporting and data analysis.

Problem solving and resolution management skills.

Basic computer skills i.e., Microsoft Office suite (Previous practice management software knowledge preferred).

Interpersonal skills with staff and clients

Works well in a team environment.

Customer service strategies and effective marketing techniques.

Staff management including coaching, developing, and motivating team members

Delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members.

Make decisions confidently and effectively.
