Job Description

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

Degree: HCW shall have a Master’s or Doctoral Level degree in nursing.

Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Possess certification as an OB/GYN NP or Women's Health Care NP by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC).

Licensure/Registration: Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license in any state in the United States, District of Columbia, or the territory of Puerto Rico to practice medicine, and a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration. The licenses and registration must be renewed and maintained in a current status during the life of the contract.

Letters of Recommendation: Provide three (3) letters of recommendation from practicing physicians. At least one (1) of the letters must attest to the HCW’s clinical skills, productivity, knowledge base, and rapport with co-workers and supervisors. The other letters may be from other physicians. Reference letters must include name, title, phone number date of reference, address, and signature of the individual providing reference. Reference letters must have been written within the preceding three (3) years.
