Job Description

An amazing opportunity to join the Mariner Sands Staff is being offered to the most energetic, dedicated, highly serviceable and most positive attitude individual.

The position will require advance skills in carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.

Be able to perform multiple, high complex, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.

Ability to perform on-site inspections of new construction, alterations and repairs; adhering to safety practices, handling hazardous materials and operating facility / rental equipment.

Develop solid Preventative Maintenance practices to ensure and protect club assets; help reduce costs associated with repair and maintenance

Position will require a hard working individual who is able to teach, manage and apply general scope of work instruction while being able to meet estimated times of completion guidelines.

Pool Operations is a major plus

Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Bilingual is a plus, although not required

Additional duties and responsibilities may include general clubhouse cleaning and housekeeping duties, although this will be designated to an associate staff member upon successful training.

Responsibilities & Working Environment are inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

Working independently under broad organizational guidelines to achieve objects, manage a department, supervising allocated funds for projects.

Significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and other movements associated with the job task at-hand.

Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 40% walking and 50% standing and most job duties and projects are performed under broad temperature variations with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.

Responsibly for creating (with the assistance of the Clubhouse Manager) all RFP’s, monitoring of all scope of work and time guidelines for outsourced projects
