SENIOR ESTIMATOR JOB DESCRIPTION (Ground-Up Commercial)
This highly reputable company is looking to add a Senior Estimator to their team! With a focus on diverse ground-up Commercial projects, this company provides premier services that continue to attract new and repeat clients!
SENIOR ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and understand all documents and assess project risks
Understand project logistics and project schedule
Manage and Develop cost estimates of “at risk” projects including all material, labor, equipment and general condition costs necessary to deliver a complete project
Actively perform pre-construction duties and participate in meetings with clients, owners and engineers
Maintain a historical database of costs
SENIOR ESTIMATOR QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years’ experience estimating Commercial construction projects
5+ years estimating all divisions of large scale Commercial Ground-Up projects in excess of $10M
Well versed in all estimating principals including reviewing conceptual estimates
Ability to communicate collaboratively; team player and balanced in approach
Advanced computer skills with estimating software. Timberline is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Strong communication skills
