This job opportunity in IFS will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) group which is responsible for the portions of the system foundry that brings the best of Intel technologies to IFS customers, differentiating and accelerating their solutions from architecture to post-silicon validation.

The role of a Design Frontend Automation Engineer includes but is not limited to:

Developing and maintaining state of the art tools for our world-wide IFS SOC and IP design and validation team

Working with design and verification engineers to understand their needs.

Create tools to enable the engineers to be more efficient.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Intel internal tools as well as industry standard tools and will guide the team to the best solution.

Qualifications:

Education and Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education:

Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least 6+ years additional experience or a Master of Science degree with at least 4+ years additional experience, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Minimum requirements:

4+ years in a design automation role.

Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in EDA tools targeting frontend from CAD vendors.

Expert with at least one scripting language (perl, tcl, ruby, python)

Preferred Qualifications:

Good knowledge in System Verilog, Verilog, SoC design integration, design verification flow and methodology

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in CanadaCAD 116,500.00-174,660.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this RoleThis role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
