À propos du rôle

Dans ce rôle, vous intégrerez l’équipe ‘’Ingénierie Produits’’ pour participer au développement de logiciels innovants pour nos clients. Dans un mode de fonctionnement agile, vous participerez à toutes les étapes de nos projets : rencontre avec nos clients ; collecte et évaluation des besoins techniques et fonctionnels ; conception et développement ; test unitaires et d’intégration ; et transfert de connaissances.

Responsabilités

- Conceptualiser, évaluer et développer des systèmes embarqués, principalement sur Linux.

- Collaborer avec les équipes internes (Montréal et Rennes) et avec nos clients dans l'innovation de produits.

- Participer aux revues et à l’amélioration des processus de développement.

- Représenter notre expertise auprès de nos clients.

Qualifications et qualités requises

- Baccalauréat/Maîtrise en informatique.

- Expérience de développement et/ou architecture sur les systèmes Linux.

- Maîtrise d’un langage de programmation natif, d’un langage interprété et du scripting shell.

- À l'aise avec en communication; nous sommes une société de services et collaborons avec de nombreuses équipes locales et distantes.

- Capacité d’analyse avancée et aptitude à résoudre des problèmes complexes.

- Être créatif, avoir le souci du détail et démontrer une capacité à innover.

- Français/Anglais (parlé et écrit).

- Expérience dans des domaines connexes tels que multimédia, sécurité, contrôle industriel ou machine learning.

- Participation à un projet open source, nous contribuons activement au développement du logiciel libre GNU/Jami, Yocto et du projet SEAPATH de la Linux Foundation Energy, projets sur lesquels vous pourriez être amené à contribuer.

About the role

In this role, you will join the ''Product Engineering'' team to participate in the development of innovative software for our clients. In an agile mode of operation, you will participate in all stages of our projects: meeting with our clients; gathering and evaluating technical and functional requirements; design and development; unit and integration testing; and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

- Conceptualize, evaluate and develop embedded systems, mainly on Linux.

- Collaborate with internal teams (Montreal and Rennes) and with our customers in product innovation;

- Participate in reviews and improvement of development processes.

- Represent our expertise to our customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science.

- Experience in development and/or architecture on Linux systems.

- Proficiency in a native programming language, interpreted language and shell scripting.

- Comfortable with communication; we are a services company and work with many local and remote teams.

- Advanced analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.

- Creative, detail-oriented and innovative.

- French/English (spoken and written).

Assets

- Experience in related fields such as multimedia, security, industrial control or machine learning.

- Participation in an open source project; we are actively contributing to the development of the GNU/Jami Free Software, Yocto and the Linux Foundation Energy SEAPATH project, projects to which you may be asked to contribute.
