SEO Technical Lead

SEO Technical Lead Overview:

As the SEO Technical Lead, you are data-driven and highly organized, with a search engine optimization background to help increase organic search traffic through content recommendations, site improvements, and education around SEO strategy.

SEO Technical Lead Responsibilities:

· Direct the global SEO program and develop customized and targeted SEO landing page solutions to maximize effectiveness of search campaigns

· Day-to-day execution of organic search engine campaigns including keyword research, researched content gap recommendations, strategic optimization of existing content, competitor analysis, site improvements, and ad hoc SEO support

· Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, content optimization, meta-tag creation, and other SEO related activities

· Propose hypotheses and conduct tests to improve traffic, engagement, and conversions

· Document strategy for major events and tentpole topics and conduct post-analysis afterward

· Run reports, measure performance, and share analysis with stakeholders. Propose improvements/alternative approaches

· Perform content audits

· Monitor traffic following algorithm updates and act fast to recover after traffic drops

· Apply management of SEO campaigns including writing meta content, supervising SEO friendly page construction, creating target keyword lists, improving site URL structure, improving link architecture, etc.

· Lead ad hoc SEO projects to support the brand

SEO Technical Lead Qualifications:

- 4+ years of SEO experience

- SEO Audit experience

- Develop and execute SEO strategy

- Analyze data and communicate to stakeholders

- Knowledge of Google Bots, Crawl, Indexation, Speed score, etc.

- SEO Tools such as: Screaming Frog, SEMrush or similar
