Research Engineer II (Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI))

A Corp Lab in NTU is seeking to hire a Research Engineer II who will contribute to the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sustainability by leveraging expertise in literature review and background study of green AI, applying foundational model knowledge to enhance training and inference efficiency, and conducting rigorous experiments to validate and benchmark against comprehensive baselines, thereby driving innovation towards environmentally conscious AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing literature review and background study on green AI

Apply knowledge on foundation models to optimize training and inference processes

Conduct experiments to compare with comprehensive baselines and validate results

Job Requirements:

Possess bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related discipline, with a focus on Cyber Security, Machine Learning and/or Data Mining

Experiences in edge networks and communication systems

Good programming skills in e.g., Python, Matlab, C++, etc

Good interpersonal skills

Excellent teamwork awareness

Good communication and writing in English

Strong research experience/track record in machine learning will be a plus
