Our Class A Welders have a starting wage range of $42-$45 per hour based on your experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our Advanced Flow Systems team is looking for several experienced and energetic Class A Welders to join our Piping Department at our facility in Chilliwack, BC. We have three (3) shifts available currently for these positions, day shift which is 6:00am to 4:30Pm Monday to Thursday, the afternoon shift is from 4:15pm to 2:45am Monday to Thursday, and the weekend shift which is from 6:00am to 6:30pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The position of Class A Welder includes, but is not limited to production welding of standard and custom product. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.

Essential Functions for this Role are:

Work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in the work cells hitting daily goals set, welding according to pre-set parameters using TIG, MIG, and flux core welding processes.

Use templates, temporary material, gauging devices and/or patterns to create materials joins

Read and follow drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld

Complete all required paperwork and necessary preparation work

Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area

B Level Welder with a BC Red Seal Welding Ticket

Holds a current Class A Pressure Welding Certificate through Technical Services British Columbia

3 to 5 years of experience on pipe welding would be an asset

Thorough knowledge of welding practices and techniques

Able to read blueprints/ drawings and following instructions
