SUMMARY

This is a part-time, seasonal position. As a Long Island Nets Game Night Attendant, you will work with and report directly to the Coordinator of Sponsorship Activation. You will also work closely with the Manager of Ticket Sales & Sponsorship, Coordinator of Business Operations, Coordinator of Game Presentation, and other members of the Game Night staff. The ideal candidate possesses a high level of integrity, passion, energy, a positive attitude, the ability to adapt to different situations, a strong work ethic, and a mentality for teamwork. Candidates must have excellent customer interpersonal skills and the desire to help others.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Communicates and receives direction from the Coordinator of Sponsorship Activation before, during, and after each home game.

Ensures the safety of kids during all open times of the Long Island Nets Kids Zone.

Prepares and breaks down all elements of the Kids Zone before and after games.

Assists in coordination of special game elements, such as raffles and live auctions.

Reviews all event notes before the game to ensure a clear understanding of all in-game/on-court elements.

Must be able to carry a minimum of 30 pounds.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Minimum of 1 year of relevant game day/night experience preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE

$15/hr - $15/hr

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays. (Expected to attend a minimum of 90% of Long Island Nets home games at NYCB LIVE, including evenings, weekends and holidays.)
