Automation Engineer

The Candidate shall have in-depth knowledge of commercial marine automation designs including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based logic control systems for marine propulsion, power management, auxiliary control, and integrated bridge systems. The Candidate shall perform review of failure mode effects analysis and dynamic response analysis submissions.
Requirements:
10- 15 years DoD/DoN program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
Understanding of: DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes; Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; ship building experience.
Merchant Mariner Chief Engineers License; Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; supervisory
US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance
Required: Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering
Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering discipline
Preferred: Professional Engineer License
