On-Site Installation Coordinator
Newport News, VA
This HM&E OSIC Support position will support the Aircraft Carrier Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) program at Newport News, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Ship Check and process non-funding related Condition Reports (CR)
Process/Validate/Track Service Order Requests (SOR)
Conduct safety, housekeeping walk throughs of work sites
Conduct fire watch and hot work audits of work sites
Assist OSIC and contractors with Work Control processing and follow up
Represent the OSIC at meetings as necessary, to include:
Daily Agenda
Build to Test
CTWD/Do Not Issue
Key Event Agendas
Support the AIT Manager in POAM reviews
Support the AIT Manager during the Integrated Build Team process
Assist to resolve all production integration, interference, or work control issues.
Other duties as directed
Requirements:
Required:
10 years Shipboard experience in HM&E systems and equipment
10 years Shipboard experience in the Maintenance and Modernization processes
US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance
Physically able to transit in a shipboard environment; to include inclined and vertical ladders, service lead obstructed passageways and a constantly changing dynamic environment
Have a good working knowledge of the following programs:
MS Outlook
MS Word
MS Excel
MS Power Point
Preferred:
A working knowledge of the following Navy references:
Technical Standard 9090.310 (series)
NAVSEA Standard Items
SUPSHIPINST 4720.2 (series), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
A working knowledge of the following RCOH specific programs/processes:
Ships Force Integrated Master Schedule (SFIMS)
RCOH Work Control Process
RCOH Work Integration Process
