ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role offers the chance to lead a team to advise and deliver change projects as part of a long-term strategic partnership with one of the leading financial institutions in the world.

The objective of the project is to provision and deliver ESG data, analytics, and modelling, enabling the organisation to extract actionable insights and meet internal, regulatory and reporting requirements. We are looking for experienced managers to lead a team of Business Analysts and Data Analysts to help in this implementation in a scalable agile delivery model.

The preferred candidate will:

Be a self-motivator working in a team of Capco and client colleagues.

Be an effective leader of a team to deliver against committed scope.

Be leading multi-disciplinary team comprising of business analysts, data analysts, data engineers, BI visualisation specialists, and data scientists.

Be hosting governance calls to report progress of the implementation to senior stakeholders.

Operate in an Agile delivery framework to design and implement iterative and scalable changes.

Work closely with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to perceive new, better ways of working, resolve any risk or blockers.

Perform continuous monitoring, assessment, and implementation of process improvements to drive efficiencies and delivery performance.

Manage workload distribution, monitor team dynamics, resolve conflicts, implement a positive team and work culture, coach the team.

Have a base level of understanding and expertise in each of the disciplines to enable effective guidance and leadership of the team.

Awareness of ESG and Sustainability topics, and development of expertise in the domain over time

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 4+ years of experience working within Financial Services and Banking as a project manager/team lead.

Knowledge and experience in ESG and sustainability topics.

Proven ability and track record in leading a team to produced desired outcomes for data related projects, preferably in an Agile project management discipline.

Proven ability to come up with identify Risk, Issue, and dependencies come up with solution and drive mitigation actions.

Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, the ability to run effective workshops, the ability to host governance forums.

Data Analysis and Interpretation - the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and recommend proposals to clients.

Proven ability to produce structured functional documentation.

Understanding of general process and controls frameworks, standards and best practices.

Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills - the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level and tailor messages appropriately.

Strong academic record coupled with good problem-solving skills and an analytical mind-set.
