Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Sous Chef at Manifest Hospitality in the Greater Kolkata Area. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, supervising the kitchen staff, creating and implementing menus, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining inventory. You will also collaborate with the Executive Chef and assist in menu development and staff training.
Qualifications
Culinary skills and techniques, including food preparation and cooking
Knowledge of Mexican Cuisine
Knowledge of menu planning and recipe development
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience in a similar role or in a fine dining establishment
Certification from a culinary program or institute is a plus
