We are currently looking for an Automation Specialist to join our growing office in Bengaluru, India.

Position Summary:

The Automation Specialist plays a vital role in creating, testing, analyzing, and maintaining new robotics process automations to meet business requirements. This involves developing, coding, and testing software automations and processes.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, developing, and testing automations using RPA best practices, particularly within low-code/no-code platforms such as the Microsoft Power Automate platform.

Additionally, the Automation Specialist will conduct research, design automation specifications, and provide ongoing support throughout the production life cycle. This role emphasizes effective collaboration in virtual teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting strict deadlines.

Experience in coaching and mentoring users in solution development is also valued.

Duties and Responsibilities:

with business analysts and stakeholders to conceptualize and develop new robotics process automations.

with network administrators, business analysts, and other IT specialists to resolve issues with existing automations.

and evaluate existing business systems and procedures.

in defining, developing, and documenting automation business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments.

in defining automation development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.

identify, analyze, and meet requirements of internal and external automation users.

robotics process automations according to specifications and enhance functionality through programming scripts.

software performance tests to identify errors and areas for improvement, and debug as necessary.

critical analysis of test results and implement solutions to problem areas.

bugs and respond to support tickets.

and maintain user manuals and guidelines.

technical details and explain work to internal or external customers.

end users on operating new or modified automations.

emerging automation development software products, languages, and standards to support procurement and development efforts.

schedule, and implement automation software improvements and upgrades.

software products for end users as required.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, or 3 years equivalent work experience in an IT environment.

in low-code/no-code robotics process automation environments, particularly Microsoft Power Automate Platform.

with Agile SCRUM development methodology.

of programming languages such as Java, SQL scripts, JavaScript, HTML, XML.

of coding methods and best practices.

in data integration and transformation across different systems and platforms using Power Platform connectors and custom connectors.

experience conducting end-user interviews for insights on functionality and usability.

to develop test cases and test plans.

written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

abilities, including conducting workshops or training sessions for end users.

working independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Education/Requirements:

College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, or 3-5 years equivalent work experience in an IT environment.

3-7 years of Microsoft Power Automate or similar tool experience.
