With $1,000 in his pocket, Allen Lund made the brave decision to start his own transportation brokerage company. It was 1976, when Allen Lund Company formally opened the first office in Los Angeles. Now, we have 38 offices and continue to grow!

ALC has seen tremendous growth and we are looking for an individual to help us support our EDI system, Team, and Trading Partners on a 24/7 basis. This position will help us give our customers and team an additional layer of support that we are currently not providing. Our goal is to find a driven individual who is interested in providing an immediate impact in our ability to provide great support for our EDI team. This individual will be joining a team of 5 and will be tasked with handling support of the EDI system, onboarding of trading partners on our communication platform, as well as our integration platform.
You will
Monitor translation and communication server performance and resolve or report any issues.
Document any and all production issues and the steps taken to resolve them following department standard practices.
Assist with any projects that could not be completed during normal business hours as assigned by EDI manager or developers.
Collaborate with EDI developers on time sensitive projects.
Monitor the ticketing system for new tickets and resolve any critical issues
Conduct Trading Partner Onboarding (EDI)
Integrate new EDI customers.
Setup electronic communication with EDI customers, financial institutions and outside offices
Map to database tables
Coordinate with Oracle programmers to integrate data transfer elements to and from EDI customers, financial institutions, vendors and outside offices.
Setup business processes to support business needs.
Work together with the other members of the EDI Department as a cohesive and coordinated team. Other duties as assigned by EDI manager.
