Role Description

We are looking for a Engineer Manufacturing Design for a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore. You will be working on projects for US clients.

As a Engineer Manufacturing Design, you will be responsible for:

Conducting Manufacturing Design and Industrial Engineering activities for new and current products

Operational analytics and dashboarding

Preventive Maintenance & Maintenance record keeping and management

Working on projects and working with clients to manage work and delivery

Applying expert knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Process Planning, PFMEA, Control Plan, DFMA, Facilities Layout, Line Design, Standardized Work, Factory & Process Automation, Sequence of Events development, Mixed Model Line Design, Digital Manufacturing, Factory Automation - Robotics, PLCs, Tool and Fixture Design

Performing other activities as needed

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Automobile or Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering or related field

1+ to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering design and product development

Working knowledge with CAD/CAM software, robotics, automation, and process simulation tools a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and quality teams

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies is preferred.

Solid Works or related CAD software experience prefered.

The compensation will be commensurate with your background and experience.
