About the Job

A Structural Engineer needs a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering and roughly 5 years of industry experience. Specialization in analyzing offshore or subsea structures, particularly in the oil & gas sector, is preferred. Proficiency in software like SACS and STAAD PRO is crucial, along with expertise in international offshore standards and design codes. Candidates with Oil & Gas experience and skills in foundation analysis/design, welding strength, and bolt checks verification are highly valued for this role.

What You’ll Do:

Experience to analyze offshore or subsea structures within the oil & gas industry.

Specialize in subsea system structures, with a preference for specific experience in this area.

Familiarize yourself with and proficiently use structural analysis programs such as SACS and STAAD PRO.

Apply expert knowledge of international offshore standards and structural design codes, including API RP 2A, AISC, ISO 19902, Eurocode 3, DNV, and NORSOK.

Conduct foundation analysis and design for subsea structures and skids, including Mudmat, Pile, and Suction Pile foundations.

Verify welding strength and bolt checks through hand calculations, drawing on experience in this area.

Apply general and specialized knowledge of structural design techniques and analysis methods to contribute effectively to projects.

What We’re Looking For:

Around 5 years of relevant industry experience analyzing offshore or subsea structures in the oil & gas industry.

Preference for experience specifically in subsea system structures.

Familiarity with structural analysis programs such as SACS and STAAD PRO is a must.

Expert knowledge of international offshore standards and structural design codes is essential, including API RP 2A, AISC, ISO 19902, Eurocode 3, DNV, and NORSOK.
