Founded 25 years ago, MIOT Hospitals – Chennai is a world-class healthcare facility that provides the highest level of care. We are looking for a Medical Gastroenterologist to be a part of our growing team at MIOT.

Perform surgical procedures related to gastrointestinal conditions, such as hernias, gallbladder disease, colon cancer, and other digestive disorders.

Conduct bariatric surgeries, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and other weight loss procedures.

Evaluate patients for surgery, including conducting medical history reviews, physical exams, and necessary diagnostic tests.

Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history and specific health needs.

Provide preoperative and postoperative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes and recovery.

Work closely with other medical professionals, including primary care physicians, dietitians, and anesthesiologists, to coordinate patient care.

Stay current with the latest advancements in surgical techniques and technologies in the fields of gastroenterology and bariatrics.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and postoperative care.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency surgical services as needed.

Contribute to research and educational initiatives in the department.

Experience: Min 8 years after specialization

Education: Mch/ DNB Specialization
