Hi there! At Saleshandy, we're building the sales engagement platform of the future. We're building products toward eliminating manual processes and helping companies generate more replies/book more meetings/generate leads (faster). What will you be doing?

1. Technical direction:

Providing technical guidance and leadership to the development team and ensuring that the company's technology vision and goals are aligned with business objectives.

2. Architecture and design:

Overseeing the design and development of software solutions, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of the business.

3. Team management

Managing and mentoring a team of software developers, including performance evaluations, coaching, and career development.

Lead by example, share constructive feedback and encourage team members.

Set vision for the Engineering team, define and refine initiative backlog for the future.

4. Project management

Managing software development initiatives, including defining project scope, setting project schedules, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time

Build a transparent system for better visibility and track high-level progress.

Measure and improve key matrices which are essential for the product and services (Eg. Reduce # of 5xx by 8% in Q1 2023)

5. Code review:

Conduct code reviews to ensure that the code produced by the development team is of high quality and adheres to the company's coding standards.

6. Technology evaluation:

Evaluating new technologies and tools, recommending their adoption, and ensuring that the development team has the necessary resources and training to use them effectively.

7. Stakeholder communication:

Communicating technical information to stakeholders, including product owners, customers, and engineering managers, and ensuring that technical decisions are aligned with business goals.

Be a bar-raiser for overall product quality and user experience

You Should...

Have at least 5 years of total and 3 years of engineering team leadership experience

Have hands-on experience in Node.js, React, AWS, CICD, Docker and Microservice Architecture.

Have a product and user-centric mindset, which is reflected in day-to-day activities. Have a retrospective and adaptive mindset.

Think about long-term relationships, e.g., 5+ years.

Be passionate about building the products

Be detail-oriented, organized, and great at oral/written communication.

Be a continuous learner.

Own all the engineering team’s KPIs

In the first three months, expect to:

Actively supply development planning, deliver stable and reliable releases

Optimize development practices to increase transparency and efficiency

Play a key role in completing the team-level initiative

Own all the engineering team’s KRs

In the first six months, expect to:

Become a key part of the team, be responsible for all engineering areas, and help others in a regular cadence. Inside and outside of the team.

Contribute to planning and executing quarterly initiatives inside our team.

Become a champion of new ideas that will thrive to achieve the purpose of our company while ensuring the quality culture we value the most.
