Job Description
Coordinate Export Shipments:
Plan and coordinate air export shipments according to customer requirements and shipping schedules.
Arrange for transportation, booking flights, and ensuring proper documentation for each shipment.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare and review export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
Customer Communication:
Communicate with customers to provide shipment status updates, resolve issues, and address any concerns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Vendor Management:
Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and other vendors to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve logistical issues.
Monitor vendor performance and implement improvements as needed.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and train export team members, providing guidance on export procedures, regulations, and best practices.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the export department.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on export activities, including shipment volumes, costs, and performance metrics.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving measures.
Onsite role : Schedule : M-F (9:30AM – 6PM) (Some overtime)
Proven experience in air export operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
Knowledge of Regulatory & Industry Standards
Knowledge of international commerce (Incoterms, method, customs regulations etc.) desirable
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export management software.
